My name is Yusuf Khan. I am the president of Infinite Vision. Being an avid movie watcher, characters and stories are embedded in my DNA. From my father taking me to see movies my mother didn’t, to my older brother and sisters reluctantly allowing me to tag along. I knew one thing was absolute, I loved watching movies. The dark theater, the coming soon trailers, the towering sound of the THX system. I would prefer going to a movie than a theme park when I was young. When I was in high school, my first job was an usher at a movie theater in downtown Chicago. Let me set the scene for you.
FADE IN:
INT: MOVIE THEATRE- DAY
Yusuf sweeps popcorn and picks cups up off the floor in one of the screening rooms. He readies the theater for the next showing as the end credits roll in front of him. For a moment, he stops and briefly study the various names scrolling upward. He stares in awe of the many people involved in making a movie.
YUSUF
(says to himself)
I can do that.
FADE OUT:
I guess you can say I was destined to do this. I attended Columbia College Chicago and CCH. There, I immersed myself in every aspect of the art of film. Studying the greats, understanding structure, pre-production, production, post-production. The technical as well as the aesthetic.
